Aliza is an international climate activist and the world’s youngest United Nations Goodwill Ambassador. She jointly won the United Kingdom Youth Outstanding Commitment to Sustainability Award at University College London, and has spoken at United Nations, London International Model United Nations, and UK Parliamentary events. With a bachelors in Population Health Sciences and an MSc in Infectious Disease Epidemiology, Aliza has also worked in non-medical fields, as a social enterprise consultant for McKinsey and Cambridge Judge Business School. She is an advocate for education, health, and social issues, and led the youth motion to declare climate emergency at the UK Parliament.

Alexandra is a Sustainability Strategist from Mexico who lives in Manchester, UK, and cares deeply about running responsible organizations. A published author in the fields of responsible management and communication, her current research is focused on the implementation of carbon reduction strategies. She has over a decade of international experience in Sustainable Managerial strategy and policy implementation and holds degrees in both Finance and Economics, and International Management. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Manchester and is proud to have been described as a ‘dangerous feminist’ by Mexican politicians.

Deborah Curtis
Deborah Curtis
Artist, writer, and social entrepreneur Deborah Curtis has been devising and producing learning adventures for children and young people for over 20 years. Through young people's arts and education charity The House of Fairy Tales she has worked in partnership with over 50 different cultural institutions including TATE, The National Trust, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust, Edinburgh Arts Festival, Glastonbury, Royal Horticultural Society and the National Maritime Museum Greenwich. The resulting projects have included live events, interactive exhibitions and publications and she has collaborated with over 600 creative educators of all ages who have included artists, filmmakers, designers, engineers, academics, scientists, technologists, and magicians. With the charities new international initiative, The Great Imagining, she is embarking on the funding, design and build of a two-week immersive exhibition programme for secondary schools in the UK. She is currently an active member of many international coalitions including the Common Earth network, Culture Declares Emergency and Our Shared World.

Dr. Isabel B. Franco
Dr. Isabel B. Franco
Isabel B. Franco, PhD, MA, MBA is a Senior International Advisor in sustainability science, policy and practice interested in exploring the role of the industry in fostering sustainable, inclusive development. She does this through the development, refinement and application of sustainability assessment, methods and techniques. Dr. Franco has applied such tools to various industries such as, extractives (mining, oil and gas), higher education, finance and banking, public sector and international development, in geographical contexts as diverse as Australia, Japan, Thailand, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, Angola and Zambia. She has been an international advisor for various international organisations, namely, UNDP, UNESCAP, UNU and British Council. Editor at the Scientific Journal Sustainability Science, she is the author of various peer-reviewed publications and the co-author of the book Actioning the Global Goals for Local Impact: Towards Sustainability Science, Policy, Education and Practice as well as the United Nations books: Socially Responsible Business: A Model for a Sustainable Future and The Corporate Agenda of Sustainable Development. With Postdoctoral studies from the United Nations University – Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability, she has managed large multilingual research and consulting projects globally. Dr. Franco has also held academic advisory and academic appointments at Keio University (Japan), The University of Queensland (Australia), Utrecht University (The Netherlands), University of Zambia (Zambia) and Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Colombia). Christopher Gleadle
Christopher Gleadle
Christopher Gleadle is a speaker, writer, and advisor on critical systems thinking and systemic intervention to advance the practical implementation of high performing net-zero, zero-waste strategies. He is CEO of The Paddy Ashdown Forum and Sustainable Viability Ltd. Christopher draws on a diverse professional background from systems software design, paper, automotive, fleet and logistics, and finance where he designed and implemented novel reporting and training solutions highlighting the effects of multiple interacting investment, organisational, environmental, governance, and social ecosystems. How actions of each affects the many. How feedback loops of the Sphere Economy inform better decision making to reduce impact between functions - The 5 Essential Habits to Sustainable Viability. How work on one SDG can impact on another - positively or negatively. Christopher has written and co-authored a number of books, published over 40 articles and written over 150 private reports and policy papers on a diverse range of topics. Contributed to The Greenhouse Gas Protocol (Scopes 1,2,3) as well as keynote speaker and adviser to ASEIC working group on SMEs. Christopher collaborates with European and international think tanks on a diverse range of topics and has conducted deep research and implementation projects from China and Southeast Asia to Europe across many industries.

Raichael Lock

Raichael Lock has been the director of a small charity called the Manchester Environmental Education Network (MEEN) for nearly 20 years. MEEN networks Greater Manchester schools on issues of sustainability whilst delivering projects with young people on issues such as climate change, waste, and soils. Raichael also co-delivered the NW Sustainable Schools agenda on behalf of the Department of Children Schools and Families during the late 2000s and has worked for the Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens. She has undertaken various consultancy roles focused on environmental education and is currently writing up her PhD, which is researching one of MEEN's programmes.

Danial Naqvi

Danial is a Joint PhD Business & Management student at the Universities of Manchester & Melbourne. He researches what changing models of urban governance and business strategy mean for achieving sustainability targets through ongoing digitisation trends. Having completed a BA (Hons) Human Geography from Queen Mary, University of London and MSc Science, Technology and Society from University College London, Danial yields a unique academic skillset matched with a practical approach to problem solving and critical thinking. Finally, Danial is a committee member at the National Liberal Club Sustainability Forum and is involved with other initiatives promoting sustainability across UK cities.

Dr. Shann Turnbull
Dr. Shann Turnbull
Shann Turnbull was educated as an electrical engineer in Tasmania and a scientist in Melbourne. After obtaining an MBA from Harvard he became a serial entrepreneur founding new enterprises including two public mutual funds and three firms that became publicly traded. He obtained additional experience as Chair and/or CEO of listed companies as a founding member of a private equity group that acquired and re-organized eight public companies. He wrote Democratising the Wealth of Nations in 1975 and became a founding author of the first educational qualification in the world for company directors. His PhD research established the science of governance by using bytes as the unit of analysis. He is prolific author on reforming the theories and practices of capitalism by adopting ecological forms of controlling and owning realty, enterprises, and money. Shann resides in Sydney.
